Fall is our favorite time of year. The kids are back in school, our teams are on the field again, it’s not hot anymore, but it’s not cold yet either–and that makes it the perfect time for a fall picnic paired with the perfect in-between-seasons wine, Pinot Grigio. She also pairs well with just about everything we’d want to put in our basket.

At BOXT, we've been talking about pairings and not just the wine kind. With the crisp, cool days of fall blissfully headed our way, here are some of the things we're talking about around the winery.

Jordy, who heads up our customer experience, tore through the books she was reading last time we checked in, and now she’s raving about Tell Me Everything by Elizabeth Strout, The Life Impossible by Matt Haig and Kelly Bishop’s memoir, The Third Gilmore Girl. 

My husband needs a new lightweight jacket and his favorite color is yellow–turns out it’s trending for fall this year. He will never know or care, but now I can stock up on all things yellow for him. 

I love hosting a good outdoor party, picnic or otherwise, and these are my go-to unbreakable wine glasses. I love the gold rim, and yes, wine can still taste good out of plastic. And whether I’m hosting indoors or out, I have a playlist for every season. 

Earlier this month, I took some time to get out of town for some star gazing and great food, but right now I’m feeling festive and I’m excited to take in the fall-themed shenanigans going on around town: movies in the park, farmer’s markets and Austin’s Pumpkin Nights, where local artists have carved 7,500 pumpkins. My daughter will love it. 

And because dogs get cold too, this is our new favorite fall sweater for the fur-person in your life. 

Of course, I'll always have my favorite glass of wine with me to tap into, and we're always happy to send you some too.
